The Government has taken a positive view for improvement of Infrastructure in our Seaports, Airports, Railways and Roads. The following challenges remain
Approach Roads to majority of our Railways yards, Seaports, Airports are in poor
condition.
Majority of Sea Ports in India do not have enough draught for large ships and facilities for
handling over dimension cargoes.
Even after the 'National Quadrangle' Roads have been developed without taking care of
many choke points in movement of road transport leading to Sea/Airports.
Orientation of employees in facilitators' organization has not come up to fit in with the
Global Standard.
The LSPs has to perform within these Parameters of limitations for customer
satisfaction.
